With age comes wisdom and getting old doesn’t mean one needs to give up on an active lifestyle.
Boomers around the globe are apparently embracing life and living it with health and happiness making retirement, “a path to endless possibilities”. There are elderly yoga instructors and martial arts masters that are in better shape than the majority of their much younger opponents.
People like Nancy Lieberman who won her first Olympic medal at age 18 in 1976. More than 30 years later, she’s returned at 50, to shoot hoops!. 50 is the new 30!
Charles Eugster who well into his late eighties was water skiing, body building and rowing showing 80 is the new 60.
Studies say exercise in later life can cut the risk of developing dementia and I’ve just heard on the radio that the average age of the wealthiest people in the world is 60 – How excellent is that? It means I am just the right age to get rich too – ha! ha!
